Drone shots en 3D animatie voor het LEF Future Center van Rijkswaterstaat
Het hoofdkantoor van Rijkswaterstaat in Utrecht heeft een LEF Future Center, een ruimte waarin medewerkers en relaties met elkaar in gesprek gaan, geïnspireerd worden en tot nieuwe inzichten kunnen komen. Het Future Center is een ruimte met in totaal 8 projectievlakken opgesteld in een U-vorm, inclusief vloerprojectie. Verder is er een 5.1 surround audio systeem. Deze ervaring is overweldigend. Mij is gevraagd om een concept en animatie te maken voor deze ruimte. Dit heeft geresulteerd in het concept: ‘Leaving Earth – a LEF journey’ waarbij het doel was de deelnemers het gevoel te geven dat ze even los komen uit de dagelijkse realiteit en hun wereld te zien van enige afstand. Door middel van drone opnames en after effects plugins verlaten we Westraven en belanden in ‘space’. De drone opnames zijn gemaakt door Topshots.nu. Rijkswaterstaat’s head office in Utrecht has a LEF Future Center, a space in which employees and relations can connect with each other, get inspired and gain new insights. The Future Center is a space with a total of 8 projection screens arranged in a U-shape, including floor projection. There is also a 5.1 surround audio system present. The final experience is overwhelming. I was asked to create a concept and animation for this auditorium. This resulted in the concept: ‘Leaving Earth – a LEF journey’, where the goal was to give the participants the sensation that they are able to break free from daily reality and see their world from some distance.
